Looking to find out every last detail as you make your decision? I love you already!

I completely understand the importance of doing your homework (it's that former teacher thing popping up again!) so I've included some of my most frequently asked questions here. If you think of something not on this list, please don't hesitate to ask me!

Your consultation call is just an opportunity to get to know me, and for me to get to know you! I will happily answer any question you have for me!

Because No Detail is too small

Ask Me Everything!

What is your style?

I edit with a light, bright, and colorful approach. I want all of my images to be bursting with both light and color. At the same time, the general feeling that I aim to create is a sense of romance, intimacy, and timelessness. My goal is that when you show your grandkids your wedding pictures they will still feel relevant and classic. My images will also highlight just how in love and excited you were to start your journey.

Do you travel?

Yes!! While my local range includes Boston, Cape Cod, and New England, if you have dreams of a destination wedding, I'll be there! My passport is ready to go at all times. As of July 2024, the farthest I will have traveled to second shoot a wedding is Switzerland! I'd love it if you were my latest travel plans!

What are your turnaround times?

Engagement and other portrait sessions have a turnaround of up to 6 weeks, while weddings and events have a turnaround time of up to 10 weeks

How many people are part of your photography team?

At minimum, there will be myself and one other photographer present. The exact staffing will depend on your wedding plans. This is part of what we chat about during a consultation call. After I learn about the specific needs for your wedding day, I will be able to put together the perfect team for you.

What is your Wedding process like?

My wedding process begins with a consultation call so that we can both get to know each other. I also answer all of the questions that you have,  so you will be able to confidently decide your next steps.

If you would like to move forward, a signed contract and a retainer fee make your booking official.

Some couples have an engagement session during their wedding planning process. If this is something you're interested in, we would then schedule and hold your engagement session.

Starting a few months out from your wedding date, I will work with either your planner or you to finalize all wedding details, the timeline, and ensure that we are on the same page.

Finally, you get married! You spend the entire day focusing on and celebrating with your new spouse, and I capture everything for you!

Within 10 weeks of your wedding date you will receive your final gallery. If you have an album as part of your package, this is when the design process also begins.

Do you provide à la carte options?

Yes! Some options include albums, extra hours of coverage, rehearsal dinner or welcome party coverage, after party coverage, brunch coverage, customized USBs, proof prints, bridal sessions, and more. If you can dream it, we can do it!

When should we hire you?

Generally speaking, 12-18 months before your wedding is a great time to book. However, if you're on either side of that timeframe, please don't hesitate to reach out and inquire. I will be able to provide you with more specific guidance once I know your particular situation.

What Happens if it rains?

I know everyone dreams of glowy, sunny day, but if the weather isn't what matches up with your original vision, you will still have beautiful wedding images. I have plenty of experience shooting in rainy conditions--even absolute downpours. I will work with you and your planner to make sure that we address weather as needed while still capturing everything.
