2024 Favorites: A Year of Growth, Gratitude, and Unforgettable Moments

What a year it’s been! As I reflect on 2024, I’m filled with so much gratitude for the incredible opportunities, the beautiful couples, and the magical moments I was lucky enough to be a part of.

It’s hard to believe how much has happened, but what I know for sure is that this year has been one of growth—both in my craft as a photographer and in my journey as a business owner.

2024 brought me to 19 weddings. Nineteen!

Each one was as unique and special as the couple it celebrated. From intimate receptions to grand celebrations in stunning venues, every wedding was a fresh opportunity to capture not just the big moments but the small, beautiful details that make a couple’s day their own.

From the nervous excitement of getting ready to the heartfelt vows and the raucous dance floor joy, I got to witness it all, and it was pure magic.

But there’s one wedding that stands out as a major highlight of the year: I had the honor of being a second photographer for an absolutely extravagant wedding weekend in Switzerland.

Yes, you read that right—Switzerland!

The entire experience was surreal. Picture this: majestic mountain views, lakeside receptions, and a celebration that took the meaning of “destination wedding” to a whole new level. I am beyond grateful to have been trusted with capturing such an important and breathtaking event. Not only did it challenge me as a photographer, but it also allowed me to learn from a talented team of professionals. I came back from that trip with new skills, new perspectives, and a heart full of inspiration.

While the stunning destinations and dreamy venues certainly make for gorgeous photos, what truly touches me the most are the people—the couples who trusted me with their love stories.

It’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

Every bride and groom I worked with shared something personal, something beautiful, something that made their day theirs—and it’s a privilege to have been the one to preserve those moments.

Thank you to every couple who welcomed me into their lives and let me be part of one of the most significant days of their journey together.

Beyond the weddings themselves, 2024 was a year of growth.

I pushed myself creatively, tried new things, and expanded my horizons. I got to work alongside some of the most talented vendors, and together we created magic.

As a business owner, I’ve faced challenges and triumphs, but each step has taught me something valuable. My heart is full knowing that I’m doing work I love, that helps create memories and legacies for couples, and that I’m doing it in a way that aligns with my values and goals.

As I take a moment to breathe and soak it all in, I can’t help but feel even more excited for what’s to come in 2025. The bookings are rolling in, and the ideas are swirling.

From intimate elopements to grand celebrations, I can’t wait to see where the next year takes me. I’m ready to embrace the challenges, the growth, and the opportunities that will come with it—and, of course, to capture more unforgettable love stories along the way.

Thank you to everyone who made 2024 so special. I’m grateful beyond words. Here’s to another year of love, laughter, and legacy. Bring on 2025—I can’t wait to see what happens next!
