When Eliza and Ryan booked me as their New Hampshire wedding photographer, they hadn’t even gotten officially engaged yet. But they knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding day.
They were certain about two things… September 21st would be their wedding date. This was a special nod to one of their their favorite songs, “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire. And, they wanted me to capture every timeless, heartfelt moment.
This beautiful couple had met at the age of 14. They grew up together, so their love story was already full of cherished memories by the time their wedding day rolled around.
You may remember their engagement session at The Knob in Falmouth, MA. They laughed, reminisced, and soaked in their Cape Cod romance.
The magic of their story continued as we moved from the sunny coast of Cape Cod to the rain-soaked hills of Pembroke, New Hampshire, where they finally said “I do” at the stunning Pembroke Pines Country Club.
Eliza and Ryan’s wedding day may have been drenched in rain from morning to night, but their spirits were anything but dampened.
They embraced the weather with such grace and enthusiasm—it was clear that nothing could overshadow the joy they felt.
As a New Hampshire wedding photographer, I know that it’s not about the weather. Instead, it’s about the love and the moments shared. Eliza and Ryan embodied this beautifully. Their excitement for marriage radiated from every smile and loving glance. Because of this, their day was filled with laughter and meaningful moments.
Rain? It was merely a backdrop for a love story that was shining so much brighter.
Nestled in the heart of Pembroke, New Hampshire, Pembroke Pines Country Club provided the perfect backdrop for Eliza and Ryan’s big day.
Despite the downpour, the lush greenery and expansive grounds offered an intimate yet grand setting that made their wedding feel incredibly special. Pembroke Pines is a beautiful option for couples who want a New England wedding venue with elegant, modern touches.
One of the greatest benefits of getting married at Pembroke Pines is the flexibility it offers for both indoor and outdoor portraits. While the rain prevented outdoor photographs for Eliza and Ryan, the country club’s interior spaces provided a clean and bright alternative. The floor-to-ceiling windows brought in just enough natural light to create an airy and inviting feel.
Plus, the indoor reception area is spacious enough to host a large celebration without ever feeling crowded, which was perfect for their guests to dance the night away—especially when September played during the reception!
As a New Hampshire wedding photographer, I always get excited when I know I’ll be shooting in an all-white bridal suite, and the Pembroke Pines Country Club’s bridal suite is an absolute dream.
Eliza, surrounded by her bridesmaids and a whirlwind of emotions, got ready in this pristine space that not only allowed for stunning “getting ready” photos but also set the tone for the day ahead.
The clean, neutral backdrop of the suite amplified the beauty of Eliza’s details—her satin gown, delicate pearl earrings, and colorful bouquet popped against the white walls. Every moment in the suite felt fresh and timeless, whether it was Eliza’s mom helping her with the final button on her dress or her bridesmaids laughing together as they helped fluff her veil.
For any bride looking to elevate her wedding day imagery, an all-white bridal suite like the one at Pembroke Pines is truly invaluable. The natural light flooding the room, paired with the soft color palette, enhances every candid shot. It’s the perfect environment to capture those cherished pre-ceremony moments.
Eliza and Ryan brought a fun, vibrant twist to their wedding by incorporating bold, colorful florals throughout the day.
The contrast of the bright blooms against the gray skies gave the whole event a joyful, festive vibe that matched the couple’s personalities perfectly. From Eliza’s bouquet bursting with rich shades of pink and orange to the vibrant centerpieces adorning the tables, the florals added warmth and life to every corner of the day.
These florals not only brightened the space but also created visually stunning photographs. Whether it was a close-up of the bouquet as Eliza held it in her hands, the florals decorating their ceremony, or the way the centerpieces brightened the reception décor, the thoughtful addition of color made the day pop in every way.
Choosing the best New Hampshire wedding photographer is about more than just finding someone who can take pretty pictures. It’s about finding a photographer who truly understands the emotions of the day, someone who can balance capturing the candid moments of joy and laughter with creating beautiful, heirloom-quality posed portraits. It’s about trusting that your photographer will not only capture the big events but will also notice the small, quiet details that make your day unique.
When you’re planning your wedding day, you deserve a photographer who is invested in your story—someone who will be there through rain or shine to ensure every moment is preserved with care and creativity.
I approach each wedding with the goal of creating a legacy for the couple, photographing their memories in a way that they will cherish for decades to come. Whether it’s the small detail shots like the buttons on a dress or the way a groom gazes at his bride during the ceremony, no moment is too small to be captured.
In my experience photographing Eliza and Ryan, their wedding was a perfect example of how a love-filled celebration can transcend any weather or obstacle. Their trust in me to capture their day—rain and all—made all the difference, and their wedding photos reflect the deep connection and joy they shared with their loved ones.
Eliza and Ryan’s wedding at Pembroke Pines Country Club was a day filled with beauty, joy, and love. The rain may have been constant, but so was the couple’s excitement and the happiness shared by their guests.
From the all-white bridal suite to the vibrant florals that added a pop of color to the day, every detail was thoughtfully planned and beautifully captured.
As a New Hampshire wedding photographer, I feel honored to have been a part of Eliza and Ryan’s journey. Thank you to you both for trusting me! I can’t wait to cheer you on for whatever comes next.
