When Krissy reached out to me to schedule Katie’s senior session, I couldn’t help but feel nostalgic.

Katie and her family have a special place in my heart—they’re not just clients, but dear friends. Growing up, Krissy would help watch my brothers and me from time to time, and her family’s down-to-earth, warm, and encouraging nature is something I’ve cherished for years.

I had the pleasure of photographing Katie’s older sister, Sarah, a few years ago (you can check out Sarah’s senior session here).

So, when it was time for Katie to celebrate her senior year with a photoshoot, I couldn’t wait to capture this important milestone for her.

Katie is the perfect mix of ambitious, kind, and funny. She hopes to pursue a career in sports photography, and I just love that.
