I don’t know about you, but I seriously love fall. And this senior session with Kayla could not have been any better. We enjoyed the perfect New England foliage at Blackstone River State Park–the leaves were stunning, it was warm enough to not wear a jacket, but the best part of the entire session was Kayla!
I loved getting to know Kayla during her photoshoot. She claims that she isn’t good at posing, but as you can see below, the opposite is true! Kayla is graceful beyond her years; in a season that full of college applications and stress, Kayla came to her senior session relaxed, bubbly, and concerned about others. She’s definitely my favorite type of senior to work with–down to earth, excited about what’s next, and willing to trust me as I ask her to giggle at the camera, walk through the woods, and perch (safely) on ledges. Kayla’s amazing family came along to be her hair and makeup team and cheerleading squad, and I loved spending the day with them, too. Her nephew Julian came to steal the spotlight, at least while Auntie was changing outfits.
Kayla, I wish you the absolute best senior year. Thank you for trusting me to capture your senior memories. I know that you will be an fabulous coder someday soon, and I’m so excited that an amazing woman like you will make some waves in the computer science world. I’m totally cheering for you, and I can’t wait to see which college you end up at by this time next year!
