Lighthouse Inn Wedding

Collage featuring the bride and groom kissing on the beach, a bouquet of blue and white flowers, and a sailboat with “Lighthouse Inn” written on it.

Brianna and Ethan’s Lighthouse Inn wedding in West Dennis Cape Cod kicked off summer weddings in a truly unforgettable way!

I met Brianna and Ethan last year shortly after their engagement. You can see their session, also at the Lighthouse Inn, by clicking here!

One unique advantage that I have as a wedding photographer is hearing the love story as told by the couple, but then I learn all of the nuances from their closest family and friends throughout the wedding day. I love hearing the different shades and facets of the love story as everyone shares what they remember.

After finding me on TikTok, I learned all about Brianna and Ethan’s epic proposal story.

These two were touring vineyards in New York with their friends and family. Brianna, suspecting Ethan’s plans, even checked Ethan over to see if he had a ring box hidden somewhere.

But Ethan wasn’t born yesterday…he hid the engagement ring with his mom! So even though Brianna had her suspicions, she still ended up being surprised!

I heard variations of this story throughout the wedding day, but the true love story came to life during the toasts.

Brianna’s dad shared how Brianna left Cape Cod to move to New York early on in their relationship. Dad expressed his concern, but Brianna’s independence and love easily won out. It didn’t take Dad too long to see that Ethan deserved all the hassle.

A whole room full of people came together during this Lighthouse Inn wedding to celebrate the love and partnership Brianna and Ethan share.

I know that great things will happen due to their love, and I can’t wait to watch their journey!

Can I get married on the beach in Cape Cod?

Choosing a Lighthouse Inn wedding answers this question with ease!

While you can get married on several beaches on Cape Cod, many of them lack the simplicity that comes with a Lighthouse Inn wedding. Here, you can have your whole day in one place. You won’t have to arrange permits, shuttle guests between the ceremony and reception venues, or worry about uninvited onlookers.

I love that there are many little cottages available for getting ready space as well. They are painted white on the inside and have large windows, so they photograph beautifully!

The cottages, like the entire venue, are only steps away from the beach. So it’s easy to have beach portraits without leaving the excitement of your wedding day.

And finally…

To Brianna and Ethan, thank you for inviting me in for your engagement and wedding memories. I never, ever take this responsibility lightly. I’m so grateful for our time together and that I got to be part of this amazing and pivotal transition.

To everyone else, enjoy this gorgeous Lighthouse Inn wedding! You’ll be wanting to drive over the bridge before you scroll to the end!
