You could say that I came home from Allison and Eric’s Arnold Arboretum engagement session ecstatic. You could also say that I came home cold! The weather truly kept us on our toes. We had a mix of sunshine, dark clouds, harsh winds, and drizzle. But we still were able to capture this important milestone in this real life fairy tale!
After hearing Allison and Eric’s engagement story, I’m not at all surprised that they were champs at handling the wild weather. Eric had Allison get up to visit a national park so early that there were no other guests around! Fortunately for them, they were able to enjoy the sites all by themselves, which included a herd of elk!
On that exciting morning Eric popped the question, and I’m sure you can figure out what Allison’s answer was. I loved hearing this cute story! And Eric has great advice for anyone planning a proposal in the future: ask early in the morning. That way you have less time to be nervous and more time to enjoy the day as an engaged couple!
When we met in Boston, we had so much fun together. Eric and Allison are perfect for one another. We had nonstop laughs throughout our session. We enjoyed the first cherry blossoms of the season. And, we walked away even more excited to work together at Allison and Eric’s wedding!
To Allison and Eric, thank you so much for choosing me to document your memories. The honor never, ever gets old. I hope you enjoy these pictures and cherish all the love that you two have for each other. To everyone else, get ready for lots of pink, smiles, and the inspiration to go check out one of Boston’s coolest nature spots! I can’t wait to see what the Arnold Arboretum looks like during all four seasons! I may need to sneak in another engagement session here soon!
