Cape Cod Maternity Photos | Cape Cod Photographer

Married couple celebrating their pregnancy at Old Silver Beach in Falmouth, MA Cape Cod

Looking at this post, would you believe me when I said that these gorgeous Cape Cod maternity photos were taken in March?! I’m still a little bit in awe myself!

We got so lucky that we had a 50 degree day when it’s still technically winter. But even the warmer weather didn’t feel super warm thanks to the ocean breeze. Lexey and Jeffrey, the mom and dad to be, absolutely rocked their session! They didn’t complain once about the cold.

As you’re about to see, we made magic together. So, what’s a little cold in the long run? The pictures and the memories are forever!

The couple

I’ve you’ve been following along for the last few years, Lexey and Jeffrey might look familiar!

Lexey and Jeffrey previously asked me to capture their engagement and wedding. Lexey and I also started going to school with Lexey alllll the way back in middle school.

I don’t think words can quite describe the true honor that it is to be invited time and time again into people’s most precious memories. I celebrated Lexey and Jeffrey’s marriage with them before they were even married, and now I get to watch them become parents.

Not only that, but I also get to craft the images that this baby will see one day. How special is that?!

Cape Cod maternity photos location: Old Silver Beach Falmouth, MA

We chose Old Silver Beach in Falmouth, MA since it’s the same beach that Lexey and Jeffrey got married on. In fact, in a few of their pictures, you can faintly see their wedding venue, Sea Crest Beach Hotel, in the background!

I love that we could honor their wedding in their maternity photos, too. Whenever possible, I capture personal and sentimental details for my clients. I love the little nod to a previous part of Lexey and Jeffrey’s story.

To Lexey and Jeffrey, thank you so much for inviting me back in to your story. I’m so grateful, and I can’t wait to meet your little boy!

To everyone else, enjoy these Cape Cod maternity photos! They’ll have you itching for summer. The sunset and waves look so much warmer than they felt, haha!

If you’re here thinking about your own maternity photos, I’d love to get to know you and help tell your story as well. You can inquire with me by clicking here.

Until next time,

Christine
