I seriously don’t think I could dream up how precious this central MA elopement was with Sarah and Dan!
Picture this: a beautifully restored, historic home that’s loaded with natural light. All of the ceilings, walls, and floors are painted crisp white. Romantic blush and burgundy florals serve as beautiful yet subtle decoration. The sweetest couple that just wants to get married.
That’s the recipe for the perfect day!
I met Sarah and Dan through one of our mutual friends, who happens to own the gorgeous home that hosted this central MA elopement. As I chatted with Sarah during our consultation call, I could immediately tell that they are my favorite type of couple to work with. While Sarah wanted gorgeous pictures (of course!) what she really cares about is spending the rest of her life with Dan.
These two decided to keep things intimate–they only invited their immediate families. This close gathering allowed them to celebrate their love story and commitment to each other without worrying about details that don’t suit them.
I always love when couples pursue what works for them instead of including trends or even traditions that don’t reflect who they are. When couples are authentic to themselves they have the best weddings!
There are many reasons!
The first? An elopement gives you the freedom to focus on the details that you and your lover care about without the pressure of extended family and guests’ expectations. When you pare things down, it allows you to connect with and create the celebration that speaks to you.
Another great reason is that there are so many gorgeous spots for a central MA elopement! Living in the area, it can be easy to take for granted the beautiful landscapes we see regularly. But there are so many gorgeous spots tucked away that might not work for a traditional wedding day, but can be highlighted when it’s just the two of you.
To Sarah and Dan, thank you so much for trusting me with your memories. It was an absolute honor to capture and curate your day for future generations to treasure and enjoy.
To everyone else, take a peek at this gorgeous central MA elopement! I’m still not over all the white backdrops… and I may never get over them, hah!
