Metrowest Backyard Wedding – Miryam and Morris

Giggling during the vows that mention lots of adventure. A puppy flower girl. Not one, but two gorgeous bouquets paired with a cathedral length veil. True love, regardless of everything else going on in the world. If I could go back to Miryam and Morris’s intimate backyard mini-mony, I definitely would! The love that Miryam and Morris have for one another definitely shone through during their backyard wedding!

Even though intense thunderstorms wreaked havoc throughout the morning, Miryam and Morris were an amazing bride and groom. No wedding crazies happened on my watch! Both the bride and groom were calm and ready to celebrate their day with a few family members…furry ones included. ☺️

Miryam and Morris actually met in high school, and their relationship continued growing in college, which is just about the cutest thing ever. As you all already know, I love hearing all about real life fairy tales. When they take the next step with a wedding, I just get all of the happy feels! It’s so incredibly exciting that Miryam and Morris said yes to their forever, especially with everything going on in the world. At the end of the day, being with the one you love is one of the most important parts of life, so it was just so special to be a part of this day.

So…I think one of my 2021 goals is now photographing more weddings with dogs. And, I also want to keep photographing backyard weddings. Sure– big weddings have their perks, but so do small, intimate gatherings! It’s nice to get back to the basics in some ways. So if you’re considering a small wedding, I say go for it! Thank you to Miryam and Morris for trusting me with your special day. You two are just the sweetest love birds out there, and I just know that you have so many good things headed your way in the future.

Enjoy!
