Now that I’ve warmed up again after being in the arctic, I’m so excited to share about this Scituate Lighthouse Engagement with Shannon and Johnny!
Shannon and Johnny have the sweetest love story! They met through mutual friends over 7 years ago. Those same mutual friends were there to cheer on Shannon and Johnny when they became engaged in Boston’s Seaport district this past December.
Johnny completely took Shannon by surprise when he popped the question. The two already had a big birthday celebration all planned out for January, so Shannon assumed that was when Johnny would ask her to be his bride. But Johnny made sure to surprise Shannon in the sweetest way possible. With the help of their friends, Johnny was able to orchestrate a whole crowd of cheering strangers when Shannon said yes! Then Johnny already had restaurant reservations booked to continue on the celebration!
Shannon and Johnny met me at Scituate Lighthouse when the weather forecast said that it would still be below freezing. As if that wasn’t cold enough, we were directly on the water, so the wind added a nice, extra chill. ?But my brides and grooms are always amazing–as Shannon and Johnny proved! We were able to work together to take some beautiful shots quickly.
To Shannon and Johnny–I can’t wait to see you two on your big day in July. It will be such an honor to document your real life fairy tale.
To everyone else–enjoy these beautiful winter images from our Scituate Lighthouse engagement session!
